After receiving your application we will need some days to review your documents.

If we see a match for the role you applied for, we will reach out to you to arrange a first interview with our Talent Acquisition Manager. After the first call, the technical interview(s) will take place. Those interviews will be conducted by the Hiring Manager and/or team members.

Because we are all working from home, interviews at eduki will take place via video call (Google Meet or Zoom) or telephone.

Optional steps in the process are: Case Study/Take Home Task, Reference Call(s).

For the whole process, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be your contact for all questions and remarks. You will get all the information on what the recruiting process for the position you are applying to looks like in the first call with them.

We will always give you feedback as soon as possible. Usually, you should get feedback in the first 7 working days after sending us your application or after having an interview.

Nevertheless, sometimes it might take some more time to get back to you. We will reach out to let you know the current status of your application and appreciate your patience. Of course, you may always reach out to your Talent Acquisition Manager for feedback or to ask questions.

Our recruitment processes differ from position to position, thus the time needed to complete all recruiting steps also differs. Usually, we need between 6 to 8 weeks to fill a vacancy.

We will do our best to always keep you updated on the current status of your application and the upcoming recruiting steps. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your Talent Acquisition Manager.

We only use AI if you explicitly consent to it before the interview. Therefore, during the application stage, candidates are asked whether they allow the use of AI tools in their interview. If they choose not to consent, no AI is used.

When consent is given, we use Metaview, an AI assistant that appears as an additional caller during the interview. It simply listens and helps us capture and organize your answers more accurately. Metaview is not used to make decisions, ask questions, or influence the conversation, its role is only to support note-taking and ensure a fair and consistent process.

Note: Declining consent to use AI will not negatively impact your application. AI will not be used to evaluate candidates at any stage of the process. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. For more information, please see our Data Protection Declaration.

Employees at eduki will get a contract in the country their main residence is registered, applying the most current official work law of that country. To be able to be employed in that country, you need to live and have a work permit in that country.

The country a role is planned to be hired in is stated in the job description for your reference. We can only assure you that we can hire in the country mentioned.

We currently do not have a legal entity outside of Germany but are a registered employer in France, Greece, Italy, and Spain. Thus, we can legally employ people living in those countries. All other countries are only possible if mentioned in the job description.

Whether a role is open to B2B-contractors or freelancers is clearly indicated within the job description. Please check the specific listing to see if a freelance arrangement is available.

The total compensation shown in a job description is based on the seniority level we expect the person to have to be able to fulfill the requirements for the role. Our seniority levels are not based on the years someone has worked in a position but on the experience and knowledge a person brings and how this matches the requirements for the role applied for.

To define our salary bands, we use market data for the respective role in the respective country, provided by a standalone tool. The salary range listed in the job description refers to the gross annual salary. We determine the final offer only after the interview process is complete, as it is calibrated against the specific skills and experience demonstrated during the interviews.

Please note that our salary bands are non-negotiable and reflect the full proficiency spectrum for the role. The lower end of the range represents a candidate who meets most requirements but may have growth areas. The midpoint reflects a 100% skill match and the upper end is reserved for those bringing additional, high-impact expertise to the team.

edukis employees work from home, which offers lots of flexibility. Thus, most probably no day will be the same. You can arrange your daily schedule self-organized and according to your needs. The only rules are to join scheduled appointments and ensure your team members know when you’re not available (e.g. put a Slack status, keep your calendar up-to-date, …).

Each working day starts with a non-mandatory company-wide Daily at 9:30 a.m. (CEST/CET), where all employees are invited to join and share their highlights/lowlights of the day or other relevant information. The different teams also have different team meetings, which you should, of course, also join.

At eduki, we prioritize a flexible schedule by keeping regular meetings to a minimum. Should you need to align on something, feel free to reach out on Slack or book a slot if a deeper conversation is required.

Flexible working hours mean that you can decide on your own working hours. Whether you are an early bird or like to start your day a bit later, you can work as it fits best for you. You can use your calendar to mark availability and change your Slack status to let people know if you’re available or not. Of course you should join scheduled appointments.

Please note: Certain roles (e.g. in Community Happiness) may have stricter requirements regarding the working hours.

At eduki working remotely means that you will work from home (your registered address). Additionally, you have the chance to work 90 days a year from abroad.

eduki is a German company offering working from home positions across various European countries.

• Job Location Requirements: Each job description specifies the exact country (or countries) in which that role can be hired. We can only move forward with candidates who are located in the country listed for that specific opening.

• Residency & Legal Status: To be eligible for employment, you must be officially registered, hold a valid work permit, and permanently reside in the specified country.

• Work from Abroad: In addition to your local employment contract, we offer the flexibility to work from abroad for up to 90 days per calendar year.

eduki will equip you with the hardware and software needed to fulfill the requirements of your job. In detail, that means you will get a laptop (either Mac or Windows), monitor(s), mouse, keyboard, etc.

Furthermore, everyone at eduki can use their home office budget to equip their home office with what’s needed e.g. a desk, chair, or else.

Please note: eduki does not cover additional costs like internet, rent, Co-Working Spaces, etc. Statutory allowances are taken into account individually depending on the place of employment.

Yes, we do also like to spend our time together in person. At our Yearly, the whole company comes together to celebrate achievements and spend a great time creating lasting memories. Additionally, the different departments at eduki plan team events together throughout the whole year.

Of course, eduki will cover your travel costs, so you only need to book your trip and enjoy the time with the team.
